Sept 2008 - Kirsty & Co are stunning in Sweden
Scottish Squash took a full squad to this event and the progress some of the players have made is evident.
Ally McCorquodale, Greg Lobban, Kirsty Lobban and Ewen Urquhart from ITSC and Jamie Henderson from Thurso Squash Club were representing Highlands & Islands Squash.
Kirsty had the best result in winning her pool and going on to come 2nd overall.
Greg came up against the 3rd seed in the last 16 and narrowly lost 3-1. He then went on to win the next three matches to come ninth.
Ewen met eventual winner, Lucas Serme, in the second roundlosing 11/7 11/8 11/8, and then he too went on to winthe next four matches to come 17th.
Ally, though disappointed to narrowly lose his second game, similarly came through to win his plate final and come 25th.
Jamie in his first international eventhad sometough matches butcame a very 35th in this 64 draw event.
